Ever meet someone who just radiates positivity? That’s Kiera Bright. In the latest episode of the Resoluna podcast, Kiera opens up about how she turned her creativity, hustle, and big heart into two thriving businesses—and how she manages to stay grounded while doing it all.
Kiera started her journey in the beauty world with Las Vegas Makeup Girls, a bridal and event beauty agency that focuses on natural, glowing looks. She built it from the ground up and now leads a team that brings calm confidence to people on some of the biggest days of their lives.
But Kiera didn’t stop there.
When she couldn’t find a ball pit for her daughter Dream’s birthday party, she and her husband made one. It was such a hit, they turned it into a full-blown business: Dream Play, a luxury kids' party rental company with bubble houses, rainbow decor, and all kinds of joyful magic. The name and rainbow branding are a sweet tribute to their daughter—their rainbow baby—and that personal touch shows up in everything they do.
“If you move toward a dream, the dream moves toward you.”
Kiera’s the kind of entrepreneur who trusts her gut. She doesn’t wait for the perfect moment to launch or grow—she just starts. She learns as she goes, takes accountability when mistakes happen (like a misspelled name on a birthday sign—oops!), and keeps it all moving with grace.
She’s also big on boundaries. She’s learned to delegate, unplug, and say no when something doesn’t feel aligned. That includes workouts. Even as a busy mom and business owner, Kiera makes time for herself and her health. She’s lost 45 pounds in the past year by prioritizing workouts, even if it means moving some things around in her day.
“My workouts are an appointment now—just like any other meeting on my calendar.”
Kiera also credits therapy as a major part of her personal growth. She calls it her weekly check-in—helping her navigate relationships, set boundaries, and keep her cup full.
What really shines through in Kiera’s story is her heart. Whether she’s glamming up a bride or building a bubble house for a birthday party, she leads with care and intention. She’s built a community of loyal clients who feel more like family.
So, what’s her advice for anyone dreaming of starting something?
“Start with a plan. You don’t need to have it all figured out, but you do need to start. The rest will come.”
Kiera reminds us that it’s okay to evolve. It’s okay to pivot. And it’s more than okay to choose joy, even if that means letting go of what doesn’t serve you anymore.
