Finding Balance: How Pilates Sparked a Journey of Strength, Mindfulness, and Self-Care
When she moved from Idaho to Las Vegas, fitness wasn’t exactly on her mind. As a mom of three, her days revolved around caring for others — her kids, her family, her home. But one invitation to a fitness class shifted everything.
At first, the workouts were tough. Her body resisted. “I was like, what are you doing to me?” she laughs. But then something clicked. She began arriving early, excited for class, and for the first time in years, she was making time just for herself.
“I had always been a caretaker,” she reflects. “But this was new — carving out a little pocket of time just for me.”
That small shift opened the door to Pilates — and it turned into so much more than a workout.
